A meaningful quote

A quote that means something to me is Lao Tzu's quote " A good traveler has no fixed plans and no intent on arriving". What I think this quote means, is the best way to experience life is to have no intentions to where you are going to go. Also your life does not have to be impeccable every single day, so maybe take some chances to experience something different. This quote is meaningful to me because my mom and I have moved to different states for the fun of it with no plans of what we are going to do when we get there. Also my plans for my life after high school are not thought out. I don't know what im going to do or where I'm going to go. I just want to let life happen and see where I end up.

Myself in 5 years

Since I am a senior in high school now, teachers and family seem to ask me what are your plans after high school or where do I see my self in five years? For me these are very hard question to answer because I don't like to plan out life I just like to see what happens. Today I will answer it, in five years I see myself living here in Hawaii, living a peaceful life like a dove. I hope to still be playing my violin and making music with other talented people. Hopefully by the time I'm 22, I will be living with my boyfriend in a apartment or a small or medium size house with two dogs one being a French bull dog and the other to be a golden retriever husky mix.
My career plan in five years is me being able to have a modeling portfolio and being able to enter for Americas next top model. But if that doesn't work out I plan on continuing my violin career and getting a part time job at an organic food place. I don't know where these plans are going to get me in life but at least I will have fun with it.

One of my hitch hiking experiences

Last year when my best friend Rachel still lived here we would always walk from my house to magics then go into hula hoop all through out town. We are both Flow artists so we liked to find new spots to hula hoop and record our selfs. When we got to magics Rachel's feet had blisters all over them cuse she wore the wrong shoes for walking and there's no way she wanted to walk all the way to town. Our other option instead of waking to town was to hitch hike which wasn't a big deal for us cuse we have done it before many times. We walk past magics and stick our thumbs out, multiple cars passed us but then a tan colored car pulls over in front us with two guys that look our age in the car. Usually our rule is that we don't get in a car with two guys, but Rachel said she thought she knew one of them so we decide to run up to the car and to ask them if they can get us to where we are going they said no problem. The guy in the passenger seat gets out of the car and says " let me get the door for you girls because it can sometimes be weird." When he said that we didn't think much of it. We then get into the car Rachel then says that she doesn't know him as we start driving along Rachel and I both notice that the door handles are completely missing from the car door. At this moment we looked at each other and paniced in side for a bit. I then check to make sure the window worked but it didn't, then thinking to myself we just make the biggest mistake to get in this strangers car. I hint at Rachel that the window doesn't work so I immediately picks up my phone and pretend that I got a call from on of our friends, I ask the driver if they can drop us off at the salt water pool because our friends are now there. Thank goodness they said ok but when we got near the salt water pool the driver did not pull over, Rachel speaks up and say " um but that was the it back there" the guy in the front seat says "yep it was." That wasn't the answer we were looking for at that moment. Getting into town the car finally pulls over, the guys let us out of the car and one of them say "our house is right up that hill come over if u want a good time" I reply "no sorry we have to be somewhere" and we walked away. Then we get far enough away from where they dropped us off I tell Rachel that we are never not going to follow our hitch hiking rules.

Tomato

Moving to the big island as a pale white girl with no tan lines at all I knew at some point I would eventually get a really bad sun burn. After a couple weeks of living here I was urging to go to the beach that everyone was telling me I had to go to, Kua Bay. Getting to the beach in the middle of the day my mom tells me that the sun is a lot stronger here and I should put sunblock on multiple times while we are here, but because of my inane attitude I said " no I'm good for now." At this point I was not thinking much of it I just wanted to get in the water. As we get all set up at the beach and as I lay in the sand I can start to feel the sweltering sun soak into my skin. I get up off the sand to go cool my self off, as I get in cool salt water it brings me back to the days to when I lived in California when I would go to the beach every day. Playing in the ocean for hours I could feel my skin starting to hurt. Looking back to shore I see my mom waving at me telling me to come in, when I get near her she tells me that we have been here for four hours and it's time to leave. I couldn't believe that we were there for four hours and not once put on sunblock I then knew I had made a bad decision. When we got to the car lethargic due to all the energy I used while swimming in the ocean. I sit down and pull down the mirror and I am bright tomato red. I now know that I should never not put on sun block when I go to the beach in the middle of the day.

Wheels to gravel

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to long board down one of the steepest hills in your town just for fun , well and for fifty bucks. It was just a summers ago when I still lived in Silverdale Washington. My best friend Kayla and I had our whole day planned out we would go into town and long board around then later meet up with our friends at the skate park. We left my house started to skate down the flat part of Ridgetop hill we then stopped and collaborated a plan weather we should walk down the hill or to see which one of us was stupid enough to long board down the long and steep part of the street. Even the most dexterous long boarders wouldn't dare to go down it. It all started when Kayla said "I'll pay you fifty bucks to long board down the hill as far as you can go." So I tell her "Yeah I can do that with no problem." I lay my board down on the rough sidewalk, putting all of my trust into my balance so that my board won't wobble. I push off, I notice my self going just as fast as the cars driving by me. I see Kayla running on the other side of the street trying to catch up with me, shes starts yelling WATCH OUT. I look up and see that the side walk turns into gravel and before i could decide if i should jump off my board or just stay on. My wheels had hit the gravel, trying to put my hands out in front of me so my head won't bounce off the concrete. I did succeed with that my head did not hit the side walk but my right side of my body did. I was pretty resilient for someone who had just flown off their long board. But when I had noticed my bloody knee I started to panic a bit. Kayla runs over and grabs my board and comes over to me to see if I was okay. Once I told her that I was okay, she starts to laughter so hard and says "That was so funny to watch I should have recorded it." Once she stopped laughing at me I told her we need to find a place to clean my knee up, we looked around to see where we could go but the only closest place was Taco Bell. Walking in people stared at us, we asked the lady at the counter for a first aid kit and went into the bathroom and we we're disgusted by how dirty it was. But we ignored the filth and cleaned my knee up and went on with our day.
